Mortgage Servicing Special Loans Analyst

Job description

This position is responsible for the processing of satisfactions, mortgage modifications, assumptions, transfers of ownership, recasts, balloons, ARMs, mortgage assignments, document recordings, and divorced and deceased notifications. This position verifies MSP fields for serviced 1st mortgage loans setup in MSP to the closing documentation for accuracy. Primary Duties: - Update and maintain position procedures. Daily: - PIF Tracking - Image PIF files to vendor by 11:00 AM - Process monthly and daily reports. - Research Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and FHLB regulations by regularly utilizing their servicing guides. - Update modification documents as regulations change. - Process loan modifications, assumptions, and recast requests and verify modification keying in MSP. - Order modified title policies through the vendor as required. - Process satisfactions through the vendor for all Mortgage Servicing loans paid-in-full. - Work with legal department compulsory legal processes. - Record documents in Simplifile E-Recording system. - Update MSP and take record of Promissory Notes when received from doc custodians. - Review and follow up on US Bank, Bank of New York Mellon, NTC...
