Peripatetic Governance Professional (Clerk) | 10419 | Permanent Contract | Variable hours / Term-time only | £15.06 to £16.07 per hour | Grade F | Norfolk: Are you highly organised, confident with written communication, skilled with IT and interested in supporting effective governance in education and beyond? Norfolk County Council’s Governance Service is looking for Governance Professionals (Clerks) to join our friendly and supportive team. You will play a key role in helping governing boards across Norfolk and neighbouring counties to operate effectively, providing administrative support, accurate minutes, and clear advice on governance procedures and statutory requirements. A driving licence and access to your own transport are essential. This is not just a minute-taking job; it’s about supporting good governance in schools, trusts and other educational organisations. The role is flexible, predominantly home-based, alongside attending meetings in governance settings, often in the evening.
