Responsibilities Peraton is seeking Wireless Network Engineers to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. These positions are located at SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL, as well as at TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad. This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC. Wireless Network Engineer Responsibilities: Wireless Network Engineers provide Tier 3 wireless network support in alignment with SIE OPORD. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with expertise in wired and wireless network technologies. Network Engineer- Wireless: - Manages and maintains the wireless network infrastructure. - Manages user access to the wireless network, assigning permissions, and enforcing security policies. - Ensures that the wireless network is secure, efficient, and available to users within the organization. - Evaluates the performance of Media Access Control (MAC) and higher layers of various types of wireless networks. - Evaluates the performance of IEEE 802.1x various types of LAN/WAN and wireless networks. - Conducts and documents radio frequency (RF) coverage and site surveys. -...
