Community Care Physicians Integrated Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time Patient Support Specialist to join their team! This is a 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday with 8 hour shifts TBD between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: - Greet patients in friendly and professional manner and complete check-in/check-out process. - Process incoming telephone calls/messages based on office policy and procedure. - Obtain patient signature on appropriate waiver(s) according to insurance requirements. - Communicate to clinical staff that patient has arrived and registration process is complete per practice policy. Notify staff of cancellations or late arrivals. - Collect payments and/or addresses patient's outstanding balances according to office policy and procedure. - Obtain necessary documentation from referring physician according to insurance requirements. - Organize and monitor provider's daily schedule. - Maintain timely patient flow. - Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements. - Prepare charts for future appointments by following office policy and procedure. - Ensure patient encounter form is accurat...
