Description JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of light and heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, damp mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets and dusting and polishing furniture. Washing walls, windows and ceilings using a variety of tools such as brooms, mops, cloths. Operates equipment such as vacuums. Uses cleaning solutions/deodorizers as per established standards and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment.The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
