Senior Internal Auditor – Environmental Compliance / Landfill / Health & Safety

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for planning, performing and reporting auditing activities in various business units of the Company. The Senior Internal Auditor performs auditing activities and audits that are designed to examine and evaluate the adequacy of the Company’s internal control structure with regards to the accuracy and completeness of reporting and adherence to Company policies, procedures, and standards. This role will support financial and operational audits with a particular emphasis on environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance and landfill operations. Candidates with experience in environmental compliance, EH&S programs, landfill operations, or related regulatory environments are strongly preferred. The position requires the ability to perform in-person fieldwork at landfill and hauling locations while evaluating operational processes, compliance practices, and internal controls.
