As a partner with state agencies, TFI recruits, trains, and supports foster and adoptive families across multiple states. Position Summary: The Legal Assistant supports agency staff and legal counsel by monitoring court proceedings, ensuring timely and accurate court filings, and promoting effective communication between the agency and the court system. This role helps ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: - Monitor court proceedings to ensure timely filing of reports and accurate staff participation - Attend hearings and support staff preparation and testimony - Track mandatory court reports and maintain hearing calendars - Communicate concerns related to court participation and compliance - Prepare detailed reports for legal counsel - Maintain professional relationships with courts and attorneys - Travel as required to attend hearings - Ba...
