Nasdaq’s Economic & Statistical Research (ESR) department is looking for a Student Analyst to join the Market Statistics team. In ESR, we deliver analytical insights to all Nasdaq business units across the Nordic and Baltic region through statistical reporting, self-service BI dashboards and ad-hoc analyses. Our works support business units in decision making, with the aim of improving trading, capital formation and market structure. The team consists of about a dozen employees that work across three different areas: Technology, Research and Statistics. Our primary customers are within Capital Market Listings, Equities, Derivatives and Fixed Income, as well as senior management and corporate functions. Key Responsibilities: - Support the team with quantitative analysis, reporting and business intelligence development. - Work with large, high‑granularity datasets to analyze trend, market liquidity and calculate performance metrics. - Help to maintain our reporting and BI tools, primarily SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Power BI, to model and analyze data. - Involve in efficient data extraction, validation, and quality control where you will put your SQL skills and data modelling...
