Job description

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA. We are looking for a motivated Embedded Software Intern to support our Humanoid Software Team and contribute to the implementation and testing of core software systems during Fall 2026. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Implement and test embedded software in C++ running on the Humanoid compute platform - Develop Python scripts to support data management, test automation or robot calibration - Contribute to the development of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure - Support hardware/software integration in the lab - Final-year undergraduate student or recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field. - Minimum 10 weeks internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred - Ability to showcase extra-academic activities working on hardware/software projects - Fluent with C++ and Python - Deep understanding of Linux - Good knowledge of computer architecture, comm...
