Job Description Lead Project Estimator (Landscape Construction): Jacksonville, FL metro-area: Full-Time, Direct-Hire: You MUST LIVE in and around JACKSONVILLE, FL, no relocation assistance is provided. As the Lead Project Estimator, you’ll oversee the end-to-end estimating process for landscape, irrigation, and hardscape construction projects. This role requires a sharp analytical eye, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and ensure projects are accurately estimated and executed smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Analyze project scopes and review specifications to determine precise requirements. - Identify materials and labor needs, obtaining subcontractor bids and proposals. - Resolve any plan discrepancies and ensure timely completion of estimates. - Prepare and present cost evaluations and recommendations to stakeholders. - Present and successfully sell projects. - Maintain and update project cost data for continuous improvement and future reference. - Conduct quantity takeoffs and attend client meetings to ensure alignment on project goals. - Present proposals confidently to clients, managing follow-up communications to close sales....
