Plastipak in Champaign is growing & hiring. We manufacture packaging for products you use every day. Our facility is extremely clean, safe & climate-controlled. Joining us as a Forklift Operator is a great way to get started with Plastipak. Shift: Nights 6:45pm – 7:15 am - Standard rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off - Includes 2 long-weekends every month - Full time schedules are 15 working days a month Pay: Earn $20.25 per hour: - $19.25 per hour - Plus $1.00 more for night shift differential We Offer: - Consistent Work Schedules - Job Security - Safe, Clean & Climate-Controlled Facility - Promotion Opportunities You Will: - Safely operate forklift - Use RF Scanning device to properly maintain inventory records - Transport raw materials and finished good throughout the facility - Load and unload trucks - Keep equipment clean - Learn new skills through ongoing training You Have: - A valid driver's license - Minimum of one year of forklift experience - Dependability & pride in a job well-done. - Ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
