Heathrow’s future growth depends on a surface access system that supports passengers, colleagues, local communities, and the airport’s sustainability ambitions, with parking playing a critical operational and commercial role in this ecosystem. The Surface Access Expanding Heathrow Parking Lead is responsible for shaping and delivering the parking strategy required to support the Expansion programme, ensuring solutions are viable, integrated, and capable of supporting each phase of the airport’s build‑out while meeting the requirements of the Airports National Policy Statement and Heathrow’s modal shift and environmental commitments. Acting as Heathrow’s parking subject‑matter expert within the Expansion Programme, the role leads the development of parking‑related content for the Development Consent Order (DCO) and associated public consultations.
