Non-QM / Jumbo Mortgage Underwriter (West Coast)

Job description

CMG Home Loans is hiring experienced Non-QM / Jumbo Underwriters to support West Coast branches in the policy and standards. The Underwriter ensures sound decisions to protect the financial and operational interests of the company. We are only considering underwriters who have recently been working with Non-QM and Jumbo loans. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities but not limited to: - Must be able to work 8-5 Pacific Time* - U nderwrite complex Non-QM loans to multiple investor guidelines - U nderwrite Non-QM , J umbo, and other manual underwrite loan products. - Communicates regularly with Processors and Loan Officers regarding status of loans via current technology. - Follows file and check order as conditions are signed off and new information is received. Maintains file order integrity. - Maintains current working knowledge on loan products. - Maintains conversation log in BYTE to properly track the forward movement of the file. - Assists with training needs of other mortgage positions. - Ad hoc reporting. - Other duties as assigned.
