Construction Design Project Manager

Description Markon is seeking an experienced and motivated engineering professional to serve as a Project Manager Level 3 supporting design-focused initiatives within the Engineering Architecture Division (EAD), part of the Engineering and Construction Division (ECD) at Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). This role is based at the Pentagon and supports a wide portfolio of engineering and infrastructure design projects. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - Provide engineering design expertise, including application of governing building codes and use of technical software, in support of: - Engineering studies and facilities condition assessments - Engineering problem solving - Development of cost-effective alternative solutions - Preparation of technical specifications Support projects involving: - New construction - Refurbishment of existing infrastructure - Structural repairs - Renovation of built-out spaces - Energy conservation initiatives - Contribute to construction efforts across a wide range of facilities and systems, including: - Commercial (office, retail, food handling) - Industrial heating and cooling plants - Office building systems and controls - Horizontal in...
