Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Public Sector

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). - 3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems. - 3 years of experience leading projects. - Active, or the ability to obtain, Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Preferred qualifications: - Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 3 years of experience working with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design. - 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and experience with compute technologies, storage, and hardware architecture. - Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
