Job description

Candidate will need to be qualified in installing, testing and certifying structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. Introduction: Black Box Network Services, the global leader in communication system integration, is looking for a Network Infrastructure Technician with a proven track record in: Working in a structured cabling environment. Installing single and multi-mode optical cabling. Inspecting and cleaning installed optical cabling. Installing copper cable to IEEE and BICSI cabling standards. Testing installed cables using a Fluke Versiv Mainframe. Decommissioning obsolete networking cabling infrastructure. Working with elevated and underfloor cabling trays. Assist in troubleshooting network equipment and cabling. This position will support facilities management, site security and project engagement with a commitment and desire to satisfy our customer by completing all work at the highest level, always striving for perfection. The candidate must be motivated and self-driven for success.
