This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors’ practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties. Job Summary: The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Dentist in providing quality dental care in a high volume dental practice environment Job Responsibilities: - Seats and prepares patients for treatment - Assist with Four Handed chair side duties as required - Works as a team member with all other staff, Dentist, administration and patient support teams - Maintains infection control - Maintains material, instruments and supplies needed for scheduled treatment t procedure - Dispenses supplies and materials and stocks each operatory regularly - Takes digital radiographs, developing and places them in mounting position - Dismisses patient to receptionist and returns to disinfect operatory - Maintains an inventory of supplies - Maintains patient con...
