Systems Engineer

Job description

Provide Systems Engineering and project management support to DoD program offices coordinating and applying systems engineering processes, methods and tools over an entire project/product lifecycle for the entire program. Essential Job Functions: Work across multiple program management offices, technical teams, and engineering IPTs to evaluate, synchronize, and integrate systems engineering activities across the full vehicle program lifecycle. Develop high-level systems architectures, requirements decomposition, and engineering strategies to support implementation of system capabilities onto ground vehicle platforms. Lead the development, coordination, and execution of the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and related policies and procedures in alignment with DoD, Army, and Marine Corps guidance. Author technical sections of Statements of Work (SoW), engineering contract language, and system integration tasking. Represent the government engineering office by overseeing and managing contractor execution of engineering tasks identified in the SoW.
