About the Role: Job Summary The Vascular Access Assistant (Paramedic) supports the Vascular Access and Procedural Services team at Longstreet Clinic by performing advanced clinical tasks related to patient preparation, vascular access, perioperative support, and post‑procedure care. This role assists physicians, nurses, and technologists in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care across the pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative continuum. The Vascular Access Assistant utilizes paramedic‑level skills to perform IV insertion, ultrasound‑guided vascular access, medication administration within scope, sterile preparation, and patient education. Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: Active State of Georgia Paramedic (EMT-P) license. BLS and ACLS certification. Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Minimum Experience: Experience in acute care, emergency medicine, or procedural environments.
