Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Recording Industry at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#145060) at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2026. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include teaching selected in-person and online courses in the music business track at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The in-person courses may be offered on the MTSU campus or at another location. The courses cover music industry topics and legal topics including, but not limited to, music business, copyright law, basic contract law, and other legal issues related to the entertainment industry.
