ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The histotechnician assists in performing all functions related to preparation of specimens and slides for pathologist examination, including gross examination, preparation and cutting of blocks, preparation and staining of slides. Maintains tissues, blocks, and slides after examination according to policy.
