Do you have a knack for precision work and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards? Are you ready to be part of a team that supports the backbone of sawmill operations? JD Irving Limited is looking for a skilled Production Support Technician (Saw Filing) to join our Central Filing team and help us deliver excellence to our customers. What You’ll Do: Blade Inspection - Conduct thorough inspections of saw blades to identify visible defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards to minimize operational downtime. Blade Maintenance: - Use specialized tools and techniques to hammer out imperfections and restore saw blades to optimal condition. Forklift Operation: - Safely operate a forklift to transport blades and filing equipment, supporting smooth and efficient operations. Automated Equipment Management: - Operate and program automated grinding machines, inputting recipes to maintain blade precision and consistent performance. Safety Compliance: - Follow strict workplace safety standards, proactively identifying risks to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
