Job Title: Asphalt Onsite Mechanic Operator Summary: The Asphalt Onsite Mechanic operator s pecializes in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heavy machinery used in asphalt production and paving, such as crushers, conveyors, burners, and mixers. They perform crucial preventive maintenance, welding, and electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime, often working in fast-paced production environments. Qualifications: - Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and fix hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on asphalt plant equipment (dryers, drum mixers, baghouses). - Preventative Care: Perform routine inspections, lubricate parts, change belts, and replace bearings to prevent equipment failure. - Troubleshooting: Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns during production hours. - Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy machinery, including loaders, forklifts, and manlifts. - Must be at least 18 years of age. - 2-4 years’ Experience preferred - Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a “Negative” result. - Must be able to complete a post- offer physical with a “Capable” result - Eligible to work in the United States - Be willing to work outdoors in extreme...
