How you make a difference As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care by gathering information during the clinical process under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RN). You will work closely with all nurses, helping them to perform activities commensurate with your education and demonstrated competencies. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and that medical procedures run smoothly. Additional Details: We are looking for a full time MA to join our clinical team at Will County Jail. This position works day shift and every other weekend. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - Successful completion of an accredited CMA course. Experience: - Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications: - Currently certified as a Medical Assistant in the State if certification is required by the State or the facility. - For states that do not require this position to be certified, a certification is not required. - Obtain and maintain CPR certification (if required).
