About DESRI DESRI (formerly D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments) is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. We have acquired or developed approximately 11 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 70 renewable energy projects in 24 states. About the role: DESRI seeks a talented and highly motivated individual to join the team as a transactional attorney. This attorney will be part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of solar, battery and wind projects within a fast-paced environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail. What you'll do: You’ll be responsible for advising DESRI on a wide range of transactions including project acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and other transactional matters throughout a project’s lifecycle. You’ll counsel the team directly, including drafting and negotiating documents, while also supervising outside counsel when necessary.
