OVERVIEW: The Maintenance / Property Worker will have specific responsibilities for the cleanliness, safety, and mechanical operations of the Salvation Army buildings located in Modesto and as well as TSA vehicles. These buildings include but are not limited to the food warehouse, shelter building, administration building and City Coordinator’s Quarters. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings - Maintains all equipment in working order. Let Business Administrator or City Coordinators know of any specific problems or damages, and make repairs as needed - Execute minor repairs as directed by the City Coordinators or Business Administrator and advise of any serious problems - Operate forklift, electric pallet jack and other equipment necessary for loading, unloading and transporting pallets and other heavy items - Ensure all Corps vehicles are in good working order and condition.
