Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide effective management of key cross-functional Supply Chain projects, or to oversee the management of multiple smaller projects being managed by Distribution, Transportation, IP&R or Supply Chain Development Analysts. This is accomlished by applying a standard, defined methodology to the project, and providing the leadership skills necessary to control the execution of project tasks, as defined by the methodology. The Project Manager will be responsibile for delivering several key project artifacts and shares responsibility and accountability with the project leadership team for the successful delivery of th entire project. Key Responsibilities: - 40% PROJECT CONTROL - Develops an effective plan for controlling project scope, schedule and cost, and monitors project execution to ensure tha the plan is being followed. Creates and effectively coordinates documentation to explain changes or potential changes to the baseline and ensures the approved changes are implemented.
