Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and Medical Director, provides and manages direct health care for a specified patient population. B. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides primary medical care to patients based on the federal standard of 4250 patient encounters per year per 1.0 FTE which averages 21-22 patient encounters per day. - Diagnoses and treats illnesses in children as authorized by their medical license and in accordance with FCCH protocols. - Provides preventive health care to children in accordance with clinic guidelines. - Participates in setting medical and nursing standards and protocols for the health center(s). - Attends provider meetings. - May be a member of FCCH standing committees. - Assists nursing staf...
