Description VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY: Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician – Power Systems to lead the startup, commissioning, and testing of electrical power distribution systems. This role serves as the on-site technical lead, responsible for executing complex projects, making real-time decisions, and ensuring safe and successful system energization. The Senior Field Service Technician operates independently in the field, provides technical expertise, and mentors junior technicians to support the growth of the service organization. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Lead startup, commissioning, and acceptance testing of electrical power systems, including medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers (MCCs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs). - Perform advanced electrical testing, including insulation resistance, contact resistance, relay testing, and functional verification. - Interpret complex one-line diagrams, schematics, and control logic. - Diagnose and resolve system issues independently in the field. - Serve as the on-site lead, coordinating with customers, contractors, and engineers. - Ma...
