Director, Work-Based Learning and Industry Partnerships - 26001JF Description: Job Summary: Oversee the development, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation of work-based learning programs including apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, industry-led training, and work-based learning programming, training, and opportunities. Collaborates with academic and workforce teams, and industry partners to expand engagement and establish innovative pathways for lifelong learning. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support collaborative efforts between HCC and Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, unions, and trade associations to align educational programs with labor market needs and develop innovative pathways for work-based learning. Research, monitor, and analyze financial, technological and demographic factors to determine markets for work-based learning programs, and disseminate information Maintain contact with organizations, corporations, and non-profits to increase access to internships, apprenticeships, co-ops, and other work-based learning experiences.
