Job DetailsJob Location: Alexandria, VA 22314Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for the processing and administration of the company’s payroll, recording work hours and schedules, maintaining timekeeping records, compiling payroll data and analytics, and providing specialized accounting services for Transit Management of Alexandria, Inc. (TMA). This position works under the guidance and direction of the Accounting Manager and in close coordination with the Human Resources Department. In addition, the Payroll Specialist ensures compliance with applicable employment and payroll laws and regulations. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000. This role acts as the company’s payroll subject matter expert, is the designated point of contact for any payroll related issues or concerns and develops effective cross-departmental relationships to facilitate the accurate and efficient processing of payroll and timekeeping.
