Overview Post Title: Director of Nursing, Raheny Campus Post Status: Permanent Department: Department of Nursing Location: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: Director of Nursing Salary: Appointment will be made on the Director of Nursing ( band 2 salary scale) Hours of work: 37.5 Hours per Week Closing Date: 29/05/2026 @ 12:00pm *Please note the hospital reserves the right to close the competition early should a substantial number of applications be received. Position Summary: The primary purpose of the role is to be responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing services and to provide professional and clinical leadership for all nursing staff on the Raheny Campus which incorporates Raheny Community Nursing Unit, St Joseph’s Hospital and the Day hospital. This includes ensuring there is effective, patient centered professional practice in accordance with relevant statutory, professional and clinical governance requirements. The Director of Nursing also holds corporate responsibility for the effective management of Healthcare Assistants that support patient care and the nursing team.
