Engineering CAD Designer Principal

Job Summary A Principal CAD Surface Designer is responsible for developing class A surfaces for interior surfaces or exterior aerodynamic surfaces to achieve the highest quality designs for engineering new product development. In this role, you will create models and detailed production drawings of components and assemblies using Creo Parametric. Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions: - Bridge requirements between aero dynamic, cosmetic and engineering design elements with surfacing and 3d model designs. - Work directly with Engineering to complete new designs and modifications, incorporate engineering change orders and release detailed drawing packages - Create and revise class A surface, solid models and detailed drawings of complex components and assemblies using ICEM, and Creo Parametric - Manage, promote and release engineering data using Windchill PDMLink - Help create and develop new digital design tools for the team, to ensure design methods continue evolving necessary. - Mentor junior team members as deemed necessary and when requested fully supervise team members, managing projects, assigning tasks, checking surface quality and giving guidance, preferred - Regul...
