Overview The Information Technology (IT) Procurement department seeks a qualified individual to join the team who will be responsible for all compliance-related matters within the department. This position requires interface with suppliers and end-users and all levels of management within the company’s Information Technology, Cyber Security, Materials Management, Finance, Legal, and Contracts organizations. This is an on-site position located in Groton, CT. Responsibilities: - Review and analyze new regulations that may impact the department’s procurement of IT-related hardware and software - Keep current on new compliance trends and best practices - Develop contract terms and conditions with favorable terms and mitigate risk exposure while aligning with the company’s policies - Review and negotiate supplier exceptions - Track the status of contract lifecycle - Provide guidance and support to management, buyers, and end-users on all aspects of compliance-related matters - Review suppliers to ensure the company can conduct business with them - Ad-hoc projects as may be requested by management from time to time Required: Preferred: - A Bachelor’s Degree - Minimum 2 years of legal rel...
