When will you work?: - This is a full time temporary position working through July 2026 with an opportunity to go permanent. Our pharmacy in Bakersfield, CA is open 8:15am-5:15pm, Monday – Friday. What you’ll do: - Oversee compounding of preparations, filling and labeling of prescriptions and prepackaging of bulk medications - Communicate with providers for the purpose of receiving new prescription orders, clarification of prescriptions or refill authorizations, perform final check on prescriptions, counsel patients and answer questions from patients and providers, and oversee compounding - Consistently meet standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potency - Adhere to USP and guidelines and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations - Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management, pharmacist in charge or shift leader Who you are: - Understand USP 795, USP 797, USP 800, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, Section 503A of the Federal FD&C - Possess excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills - Solid interpersonal skills including the ability to remain calm, professional, diplomatic, and positive - Ability to think and act independently whil...
