We are committed to supporting individuals affected by alcohol and other drug misuse, providing them with pathways to recovery through holistic and culturally appropriate rehabilitation programs. About the Role: The key role of the Public Intoxication Response (PIR) Assertive Outreach Worker is to provide culturally safe assertive outreach support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities who are affected by alcohol (and/or other drug use). Within a culturally safe and harm minimisation approach the worker will undertake: The role covers locations from Bairnsdale to Lakes Entrance, including Swan Reach - Provide an outreach response to community affected with Alcohol and other drugs. - Assist community with an initial referral intake. - Assist with transport of community to a saf...
