Position Summary: Lifeguards will uphold Program Safety Standards to ensure the safety of all individuals participating in the Red Shield’s Aquatics Program. The Supervisor will oversee and implement aquatic program activities to meet the needs and interest of participants. Essential Functions: - Maintains constant surveillance of members/guests in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of members and guests in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. - Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service. - Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.(4-10) - Hose down pool deck and boys locker room daily. - Responsible for vacuuming and backwashing the pool on a wee...
