Reporting to the Divisional Controller - Arrowhead Intermediaries of Brown & Brown Insurance, the Assistant Controller will work closely with finance leadership to complete the month-end process and provide support in streamlining processes as well as ensuring the processes are being followed by performing the following duties. How You Will Contribute: - Oversee timely, accurate month‑end and quarter‑end close processes in compliance with corporate and regulatory deadlines. - Manage consolidation of financial data across divisions to support reliable internal and external reporting. - Provide technical accounting guidance, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and other complex accounting matters; research compliance issues as needed. - Prepare, review, and approve journal entries; coordinate and prepare financial statements. - Perform and review monthly CSA packages in accordance with the Brown & Brown internal control framework. - Analyze balance...
