Overview Senior Underwriter – AmTrust E&S Insurance Services – Human & Social Service. This Human Service underwriting position is designed for an individual with a minimum of seven (7) years of E&S (excess & surplus lines experience) writing medium to high hazard primary and supported excess liability insurance. Knowledge of ISO coverage forms. Individual account underwriting is required for hazard analysis, rating, pricing, and form selection. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in the nonprofit sector. With this opportunity, you will underwrite and manage a portfolio of hard-to-place nonprofit risks with tougher exposures considered unique or challenging in accordance with AmTrust E&S guidelines, strategy and profitability standards. The person in this position is responsible for new business development, risk analysis and assessment, coverage evaluation, pricing and contract negotiation to maintain and develop a profitable portfolio of non-admitted primary and excess liability risks.
