JOB SUMMARY: NBCUniversal (NBCU) and Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) develop licensed and branded consumer goods and promotional products which are sold at retail at theme parks and/or otherwise distributed worldwide. Product lines currently include toys, children’s products, food/drinkware, apparel, cosmetics, souvenirs, stationery, technology products and collectibles. The role of Representative, Merchandise Compliance & Product Safety Center independently handles certain entry-level compliance functions for the UP&E-Parks Global Merchandise (PGM) and Product Safety Center (PSC) product compliance programs. This role acts as an initial point-of-contact for the NBCUniversal Product Safety Center. The individual in this role handles low-level compliance processes / decisions and escalates technical or legal questions related to compliance of developed or custom-branded merchandise for NBCUniversal-owned/operated and licensed/affiliated business units.
