Analyst, Senior Shipboard Inventory

POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures regarding the shipboard Inventory team. The position acts as a liaison with the functional areas in supply chain as well as hotel operations to ensure the processes exist for a continuous flow of product and financial reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develops implements and maintains inventory control policy and procedures to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the entire supply chain process with specific focus to the shipboard operational aspects. 2. Travels to the ships to assess compliance with and provide constant training of policies and procedures. 3. Conducts performance evaluations and creates action and development plans for personnel. 4. Responsible for identifying best practices within each ship and building on the individual initiatives so that they may be introduced as fleet wide initiatives and across brands. 5. Tracks and prepares key performance metrics and benchmark items relating to inventory planning and forecasting.
