Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Positive Options in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Assistant Director of Positive Options utilizes best practices and technology within a community-based setting to teach individuals with developmental disabilities the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills necessary to live as independently as possible. This role requires the ability to train in public environments, exercise patience, maintain flexibility in scheduling, and respond effectively to crisis situations. Creativity and ingenuity are essential when determining the most effective training methods, assistance, and support for each individual. This position requires travel to all four South Carolina offices : Myrtle Beach, Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston. Starting salary $85,000+ based on background and experience.
