Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term till 31/08/2027 Location: Guildford, University of Surrey International Study Centre Salary: up to £ 26,520 per annum The Progress Coach’s role is to support students’ progression needs both face-to-face and online. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of tutorial sessions, 1-1 support and guidance with their academic studies, establishing a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classrooms in preparation for their transition to HE. This will require excellent people skills and a good level of administrative ability. ABOUT THE ROLE: - Acting as a personal tutor to deliver Academic Success tutorials and provide 1:1 personal development, academic and progression counselling to students. - Collaborate within the network to design and create learning materials around study skills, welfare topics and employability for Academic Success tutorials. - Update and maintain the virtual learning environment and embed alternative digital learning technologies into delivery. - Put interventions in place in relation to attendance in a timely manner and in accordance with the Attendance Policy and accur...
