2nd Shift Assistant Machine Operator What do Assistant Machine Operators do at Pratt Industries? Our Assistant Machine Operators directly support all machine operations including setup, cleanup and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Jump on the path of a lifelong career! Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous experience in the packaging industry a plus Duties and Responsibilities: - Work safely at all times - Follow Good Manufacturing Processes - Learn and comply with Pratt Industries quality procedures - Responsible for assisting the Machine Operator with maximizing the utilization of equipment, improve set up times and down times. Help to identify and address mechanical concerns. - Keep work area clean by using good housekeeping procedures including sanitization and removing trip hazards. - Learn and understand the equipment by assisting the Machine Operator with capability and capacity of the machine and drive efficiencies by limiting waste and downtime. No sacrifice of quality for machine speed. - Cross-Train on other machines in the facility - Assist Machine Operator with completing necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, incl...
