Job description

Job Title : Maintenance Planner Job Summary: Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning maintenance activities, scheduling recurring PM tasks, generating purchase requisitions, materials procurement, and contractor management. The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Manager. Responsibility: Organize and schedule routine frequency PMs and other activities in cooperation with affected departments. Assist in planning shutdown activities. Develop and provide work scope and details as required on a per task basis. Initiate safe work instructions, and revise instructions as needed. Work collaboratively with EHS on permit-required maintenance activities to ensure compliance. Generate and process materials, tools, components, contractor service, and vendor-managed inventory purchase requisitions. Monitor contractor activities as required . Research component details for appropriate technology improvements. Monitor and check the compressed air system. Assist with maintenance repairs when necessary to cover resource shortage issues.
