Job Title: Mobilization Tech - Senior Department: 6800 Location: Rochester General Hospital Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Day/Evening SUMMARY: This role will collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to identify high priority patients in need of ambulation and mobility. The Mobilization Tech – Senior will provide support to the interdisciplinary team (Nurses, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists) and assists the Nurse, Patient Care Tech, or Therapist who is providing mobility services to patients. The Mobilization Tech – Senior is responsible for the identification and intervention of turning and positioning for each individual patient in need while maintaining superior customer service. This role is responsible for verifying activity orders, assisting with tasks necessary for the management team, organizing the patient care unit, and being flexible to meet patient and/or unit needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to appropriately transfer patients using trained techniques and safe patient handling equipment.
