Job description

The Supervisor, Clinical Staff Professional Development provides operational oversight and coordination of clinical staff performance and professional development processes that support safe, high quality, and compliant shipboard healthcare services. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Clinical Staff Professional Development, this role supports fleetwide execution of established performance frameworks, competency assessments remediation pathways, promotion workflows, and development initiatives that are aligned with Clinical Services priorities. As a clinically experienced Registered Nurse , the Supervisor applies clinical expertise to review, validate, and monitor assessments of clinical practice, documentation quality, professionalism, teamwork, and compliance with clinical, public health, and regulatory standards. The role does not provide direct clinical care or independent disciplinary authority, but supports shipboard leaders and HR partners by ensuring consistency, accuracy, and governance compliance across performance related processes.
