Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Provides financial support to venues. Maintains standard financial reports and guides management in the development of annual budgets. Supervises and provides work direction to Cost Analyst. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Tracks costs, researches financial variances, provides explanations and recommends solutions to management. - Prepares cost estimates and analyses for special projects and makes recommendations regarding operational decisions relative to those projects. - Executes month-end close journal entries, processes and balances sheet account reconciliations within required deadlines. - Prepares financial reports that both summarize and detail the performance of venues. - Guides the operating division management in the development of annual operating budgets. - Supervises Cost Analyst by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management. Ensures Cost Analyst is meeting all objectives and accountabilities. - Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. - Perform other duties as assigned.
