Your Role We design spaces, services and environments for organizations and institutions seeking new ways to innovate and improve their environments. We are searching for a Designer with a focus in interiors in the higher education, academic workplace and research environment to join our team in Chicago. As a Gensler Designer, your job will be to combine creativity and technical knowledge to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You have exceptional design skills, a background in interiors, and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. You will collaborate with our broader design team to develop design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of a project. You will be successful because you already know how to translate sketches and concepts into realized 2D/3D models and images and can research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise.
