Job Description: The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company's accounting system, which is mission-critical to overall operations. This position is responsible for performing advanced accounting functions, providing financial analysis, and supporting compliance with GAAP and DCAA guidelines. The Senior Accountant exercises a high level of discretion and independent judgement, ensures adherence to established accounting policies and procedures and proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements. This role also provides guidance and mentorship to accounting staff and supports leadership with financial reporting and audit readiness. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
